Will Johnny Ever Love Metro Rail?

Johnny wants to love Metro Rail and will love Metro Rail when:

• He can use it to get to most places in LA proper & the Pacific Coast.
• Metro Rail runs 24 hours per day.
• The trains run more frequently, especially during the daytime.
• Riders are not punished for requiring food & beverage.
• Metro Rail uses plastic, reusable tickets rather than the paper, disposable ones currently used.

In short, Johnny will love Metro Rail when it looks less like the current system...

New York's MTA Subway. Admittedly, asking LA Metro to look like this is a bit much, so how about like this:

Mexico City's Metro System, or like this:

London's Underground

Johnny would even be impressed if Metro Rail more closely resembled any of these systems in cities with populations less than Los Angeles' 4,097,340...

At LA Metro's current rate of development, it is not a matter of whether or not Johnny will ever love Metro Rail. Rather, the question becomes, "Will Johnny's children's children's children's children's children love Metro Rail?"
